Zoning Hearing Board Hearing: 1032 General Lafayette Boulevard

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 7:00 PM prevailing time, at the Birmingham Township Municipal Building, 1040 West Street Road (Route 926), West Chester, Pennsylvania 19382, the Birmingham Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing and thereafter render a decision on the application of Megill Homes, Inc., on behalf of property owners, Nicholas and Linda Farrell, for the following variances with respect to the property located at 1032 General Lafayette Boulevard, Birmingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, in order to construct the proposed detached garage, pool, and to remove various hardscaping improvements which now exist on the property:  (a) from the 10% lot coverage requirement of Section 122-24.C of the Zoning Chapter of the Birmingham Township Code (“Code”) in order to increase the existing nonconforming 18% lot coverage to 20.8%; (b) from the minimum 90% green space requirement of Section 122-24.I of the Code in order to reduce existing nonconforming green space from 82% to 79.2%; and (c) a variance from the requirement of Section 122-108.A of the Code which permits enlargement of a nonconforming structure so long as the enlargement would not increase the nonconformity with respect to lot coverage.  If any person who wishes to attend the hearing has a disability and/or requires an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to observe or participate in the proceedings, he or she should contact the Township Building at 610-793-2600, to discuss how those needs may be accommodated.
