Organizational Meeting Schedule
NOTICE - The Board of Supervisors of Birmingham Township, Chester County will meet at 7:30 PM on Monday, January 7, 2008 to organize for the 2008 calendar year. At that time the Board will make all appointments necessary to fill Township positions. The Board may also consider any regular business that is brought before them at the meeting.
All meetings will be held in the Township Building located at 1040 W. Street Road (Rt. 926), West Chester.
The Board of Supervisors will hold regular business meetings on the first and third Mondays in 2008 except for the month of September. The first monthly meeting in September will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd. All meetings will commence at 7:30 PM.
Meetings to discuss the 2009 budget will be held Monday, September 29th and Wednesday, November 12th, both at 7:30 PM.
The Spring Road inspection will take place on Thursday, March 13th at 8 AM. The Fall Road inspection will take place on Thursday, October 23rd at 8 AM.
The Planning Commission will hold regular meetings the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM.
The Historical Architectural Review Board (HARB) will hold regular meetings, when there are agenda items, on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM.
The Zoning Hearing Board will schedule meetings upon the receipt of applications.
The Recreation, Parks and Open Space Committee will hold regular meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM.
The Board of Auditors will be meeting on Tuesday, January 8th at 8:30 AM to organize for the coming year.
All meetings will be held in the Township Building, which is accessible to the handicapped. If you are a person with a disability and wish to attend any of the above listed meetings, and require an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to observe or participate in the proceedings, please contact the Township Office at 610-793-2600 to discuss how the Township can best accommodate your needs. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM.
